Why do you prefer using b3 over the other bond products out there?

I prefer b3 because its anhydrous, meaning there’s no added processing time. I’m busy in the salon, so I don’t have an extra 15 minutes to process. You can add b3 to all color services, including perms.
 
What do you stress to class attendees regarding proper after care following a Brazilian Blowout treatment?

Since you’re acting as an educator/mentor to other stylists, who was your mentor and how did they influence your career?

In 18 years of doing hair, there are so many mentors I have encountered throughout the years. I feel like I’ve really grown and become a better educator with their guidance. In the six years since I’ve been with Brazilian Blowout, they’ve really grown into such an amazing company. We all say we’re a family and it’s nice that I can reach out to any other educators in the country and everyone’s willing to help each other.

What’s your favorite motto?

“Educate your life.” I think you can always grow as a hairdresser. There are always new techniques you can learn in hairdressing.

Over the years, something that’s stuck with me is the importance of passion. You should have a strong passion for this industry. I love learning new things.

What are you excited for the most with the launch of the new Ionic Cleanser?

The spray replaces the Anti-Residue Shampoo and is a next-generation cleansing system that preps the hair and optimizes the performance and longevity of a Brazilian Blowout in just one wash.

I love it because it cuts down the time from a 90-minute service to an 80-minute service. It removes more of the buildup on the hair, resulting in a better Brazilian Blowout.
