How Premier Beauty is Giving Back

12.07.2020

Premier celebrates the holidays this year by giving thanks to our community and helping out in any way we can. While 2020 has been a stressful year, it has also allowed us to look back and think about all that there is to be grateful for. We’re taking the time to find new ways to help others so everyone can have a wonderful holiday season.

One of the ways that the Premier Team has contributed to the community is by providing food, supplies, and donations to the West Deerfield Township Food Pantry to help them serve as many people in the area as possible. This is Premier’s second year with this organization, and we’re delighted to be able to work with them again and assist with all they do. With the community’s help, this food pantry has bounced back from a plumbing accident that occurred in 2016 better than ever. This township provides resources to those in the community going through a tough time in their lives. They give things beyond nutritional support, such as financial assistance, health care, housing, medical care, and family counseling.

Another focus that Premier has every year is contributing to the environment. We recycle our expired products with Green Circle Salons and are a certified sustainable salon! This sustainable salon solution aims to keep salons and the earth beautiful by reducing and recycling beauty products. The beauty industry creates 877 pounds of waste every single minute. Together, Premier and other partnering salons within the Green Circle Salons have kept roughly 7,069,495 pounds of beauty waste out of landfills and waterways since 2009.

We also promote reusing clothing with our coat drive this year. Our staff members donated gently used coats to the GLMV Veterans Coat Drive. For many, winter coats are the most expensive and most essential clothing item during the colder months. This coat drive is dedicated to providing winter wear to veterans and their families. This is a great way to say thank you and show our support to them.

We’re proud to help out and give back to our community. Premier encourages you to reach out this Thanksgiving and try to see what you can do to make the world a better place. Have a happy holiday.
